am avut windows 7 x64 si imi vedea toata memoria ram fara nici o problema. dar m-a enervat ca nu imi mergeau anumite jocuri si am revent la XP professional, care nu imi vede decat 3.25 gb ram.
stie cineva cum fac sa imi vada toti 4 gb? exista vreun programel sau trebuie facut ceva din windows?

Windows XP pe 32 de biti nu poate sa vada mai mult de 3,2 Gb. Vista si Seven pe 32 de biti pot sa vada maxim 4 Gb.

Orice sistem de operare pe 32 biti nu poate sa foloseasca mai mult de 3.25 GB RAM ... fie ca ii "vede" ca 4GB , fie ca ii "vede" ca 3.25 GB (si cand zic "vede" ma refer strict la valoarea raportata in System Properties).

Nici xp 64 biti nu este asa grozav ca din cate am inteles nu este facut de la 0 in 64 ci au recompilat kernelul ca sa poata adresa mai mult ram.

da, am XP x32. dar daca imi pun Windows 7 x86 o sa vada 4gb? ca din cate stiu x86 e de fapt x32...

Deci trebuie sa pui windows 7 x64, ca sa iti vada 4 gb ram si sa se foloseasca de toti .

Ce jocuri nu merg? Si eu am windows 7 64bit si singurul joc care nu mi-a mers ai Ouake 3 si Quake Team.Merge pana si Age of Empires III in compatibility mode.

Pentry crysis prima versiune stiu ca a trebuit sa instalez un fix pentru 64 biti. In acel moment aveam vista 64. Legat de nfs ala imi merge fara probleme. Eventual incearca si cu alta "versiune" de windows 7
